The Puttyverse Privacy Policy

Last Updated: April 2026

Who We Are

The Puttyverse is an online community for multipotentialites, operated by Puttylike Media Ltd. (“we,” “us,” or “our”), a company based in British Columbia, Canada. Our community is hosted on the Circle platform, currently accessible at theputtyverse.circle.so and theputtyverse.com. This Privacy Policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and your rights regarding that information.

Questions or concerns? Email us at team@theputtyverse.com.

What Information We Collect

Information you give us directly: When you join The Puttyverse, you provide us with your name, email address, and any profile information you choose to add. If you post, comment, or participate in discussions, that content is also collected.

Payment information: When you subscribe, your payment is processed by Stripe. We do not store your full credit card details — Stripe handles that securely on our behalf. We do retain records of your subscription status and billing history.

Technical information: Like most online platforms, we and our service providers automatically collect certain technical data when you use the community, including your IP address, browser type, device type, and usage activity (such as pages visited and features used).

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

•  Provide you with access to The Puttyverse community

•  Process your subscription payments through Stripe

•  Send you community-related emails and updates through AWeber, our email service provider

•  Respond to your support requests and questions

•  Improve and maintain the community

•  Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information to anyone, ever.

Third Parties We Share Data With

Running The Puttyverse requires us to work with a small number of trusted third-party services. Here’s who they are and why we share data with them:

•  Circle (CircleCo, Inc.): Our community platform. Circle hosts the community and processes member data on our behalf. You can review Circle’s privacy practices at circle.so/privacy.

•  Stripe: Our payment processor. Stripe handles all payment transactions securely. See stripe.com/privacy.

•  AWeber: Our email marketing platform. Member email addresses are stored in AWeber so we can send community updates and newsletters. See aweber.com/privacy.

•  Zapier: We use Zapier to automate certain workflows between our tools (for example, adding new members to our email list). Data passed through these automations is limited to what’s necessary. See zapier.com/privacy.

All of these providers are contractually required to protect your data and may only use it to provide services to us.

Cookies

The Puttyverse and the Circle platform use cookies — small text files stored on your device — to keep you logged in, remember your preferences, and understand how the community is being used. Some cookies are strictly necessary for the platform to function. Others are used for analytics.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, though disabling certain cookies may affect your experience in the community.

Live Events, Screenshots, and Recordings

The Puttyverse hosts live events including calls, workshops, and group sessions. By participating in these events, you acknowledge that screenshots may be taken and used by us for marketing purposes, including on social media and promotional materials. We will not identify participants by name in any such materials without their explicit consent.

Most live events are intentionally not recorded, so that members feel safe to share openly. When an event is recorded — such as certain workshops — we will always notify participants in advance. Recordings are for internal use within The Puttyverse community only and will never be shared outside the community without the explicit permission of those involved.

Content After Leaving

If you cancel your membership or your account is removed, your posts and comments will remain visible in the community. We do this to preserve the continuity and value of discussions for remaining members. If you would like your content removed, please contact us at team@theputtyverse.com and we will action your request.

Your Rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

•  Access the personal information we hold about you

•  Correct inaccurate information

•  Request deletion of your personal information

•  Withdraw consent to certain uses of your data

•  Receive a copy of your data in a portable format

Canadian members: We comply with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA) and British Columbia’s Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).

EU/UK members: We comply with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). Our legal basis for processing your data is primarily the performance of our contract with you (i.e., providing your membership) and, where applicable, your consent.

To exercise any of these rights, please contact us at team@theputtyverse.com. We will respond within 30 days.

Data Retention

We retain your personal information for as long as your membership is active and for a reasonable period afterward for legitimate business purposes (such as resolving disputes or complying with legal obligations). You can request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at team@theputtyverse.com.

Children and Minors

The Puttyverse is intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has registered, please contact us at team@theputtyverse.com and we will remove the account.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by posting a notice in the community. Your continued use of The Puttyverse after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.
